FRC-K20 shake down
When we arrived at Pacific raceway it was only 30°f even by lunch time it had only made it to 54°f
The first car on the track was 9am so off we went for a few laps then back in check for leaks and a quick look over.
Out on the track now bedding in the pads all working as planned, we have slightly more weight in the rear than the FRC-14 but over all less than 100lbs
and it is not noticeable at all.
So now all we will say is we were getting much faster lap times with this stock than with the 1530 stoker engine in the FRC-14, and we hit the rev limiter with
still 1700’ of track to accelerate before braking in to turn 2.
we have a diffrent gearset and will be fitting that in the next week or two
